While you have fantastic psychic powers, you're usually pretty grounded (or as some might call it, earth bound).
Tier 1
PSI Fire - Use your big brain to fire off a bit of pyrokinesis with a chance to burn your target (Flip a coin. If heads, the target is burned). Based off intelligence.
PSI Boost - Your newfound psychic abilities have made you a little smarter. You gain a one point boost to intelligence.
Tier 2
PSI Shield - Once per encounter, you may create a barrier of psionic energy that halves any incoming damage as a simple action. This shield lasts for three turns.
4th-D Slip - Cheese it! Once per day, mission, or bounty, you and your team may instantly escape a battle.
Tier 3
PSI Freeze - Shoot a blast of ice at a single target, with a chance to slow the target. (Roll a percentile die. If 60% or higher, the target is slowed. If effect resolves three times, the target is frozen solid for two turns). Based off intelligence.
Defense Up - Power up your pals and make them capable of weathering any hit. Well, kinda. You may improve the defensive stats of your entire team, boosting their vitality and deftness by one until the end of the encounter. This effect cannot stack.
Tier 4
PSI Thunder - ZAP. Your foes won't know what hit 'em when you call down a lightning bolt down from the blue with an extra five successes on it. Has a small chance to stun the target (Roll a percentile die. If 80% or higher, target is stunned). However, lightning cannot strike twice and you may not target the same target twice with this skill. Based on intelligence.
PSI Boost (Bonus) - OK, you're basically a genius. You gain an additonal one point boost to intelligence.
Tier 5
Tri-PSI Bye-Bye (Unique) - Nice name, eh? No? Whatever. Once per day, mission, or bounty you fire a burst of elemental wrath that combines the effects of PSI Fire, PSI Freeze, and PSI Thunder. The target has a chance to be slowed, stunned, and burned all at once. You must roll seperately for each effect (Roll a percentile die for each effect. However, for each effect you must get 75% or higher). The only caveat is you have to say this ability's name out loud when you use it. Seriously, don't say "I''m gonna use my unique," say the dumb name I made up. I'll know if you don't. Based on intelligence.
Offense Up - Power up your pals and make them capable of dealing a hit the opponent can't weather. Increase the robustness and intelligence of your team by one until the end of the encounter. This effect cannot stack.
Tier 6
LifeUp - Use PSI to heal the wounds of your teammates. Based on intelligence.
Tier 7
PSI Specialization - Time to choose your favorite element! Choose whether to upgrade PSI Fire, PSI Freeze, or PSI Thunder.
>PSI Fire (Bonus) - There's a lot of power behind those flames. PSI Fire now has a very small chance to instantly kill non-boss enemies (Roll a percentile die. If 95% or higher, target is killed).<
>PSI Freeze (Bonus) - Your mastery of the ice and cold has improved dramatically. You now have full blown cryokinesis. For more details on this superpower, consult this page (Ice Manipulation).<
>PSI Thunder (Bonus) - Maybe lightning strikes twice for you. And thrice. PSI Thunder can now be used on the same target multiple times.<
Tier 8
PSI Boost (Bonus) - You could figure out cold fusion if you had a free afternoon. You gain an additional one point boost to intelligence.
Tier 9
PSI Starstorm - There's no messing with you anymore. Once per day, mission, or bounty, you may call down a barrage of comets to attack all foes and deal heavy damage. Take that bullies who made fun of me in grade school. Got some comets for your bitch-ass.
