As a Cryptozoologist you hunt for the unexplained and the undocumented. The disrespect sometimes thrown your way is a tad nonsensical. After all, a lot of normal animals were once cryptids deemed mythical and imaginary. It's your job to find the truth, and find what's real and what isn't in the multiverse.
Tier 1
Study - There's a lot of mysteries to be uncovered in the multiverse, and you gotta have somewhere to keep track of your findings. You now have a Field Journal, and as a main action can study any creatures unidentified by modern science to get some information about them (Make sure to legitimately keep track of what's in your Field Journal, a lot of abilities of this class will rely on its contents). Roll intelligence to see how good you're able to make your entry.
Proper Education - Yeah, you've been to college. You gain a one point boost to either intelligence or appeal.
Tier 2
Prepared - When you've studied a cryptid, you have some better ideas as to what you do. You're better prepared than the average person when dealing with them, and as such you have a two point bonus to rolls involving creatures in your Field Journal.
Learned Tracker - You don't have a natural inclination towards the wilderness, but after spending so much time in it you've learned how things go. You may now roll intelligence instead of perspicacity when tracking animals.
Tier 3
Cryptid Creation - Pull a Frankenstein and design your very own abomination of nature that will help you in battle and take up your support slot. You may choose two abilities (within reason!) for it, and its stats will scale with you. You also may choose an existing cryptid if you wish. The only limitation is your imagination, and that it can't be much bigger than a normal human.
Proper Education (Bonus) - After working with animals and things that barely classify as animals, you've learned a few things. You gain a one point bonus to either intelligence or appeal.
Tier 4
Study (Bonus) - You think that you're better able to absorb a lot of information in a short amount of time. You may now use Study as a simple action and you will get more information from using it.
Survivalist - You've been in the woods once or twice. You gain a three point bonus to any nature-based rolls.
Tier 5
Cryptid Imitation (Unique) - After studying cryptids so much, you've learned some seriously interesting facts about them. In fact, you've learned a bit about how some of their strange abilities work. Maybe enough to use them yourself. Once per day, mission, or bounty, you may attempt to use an ability from one of the creatures in your Field Journal. Roll intelligence to see if you're able to copy the ability. The more powerful the ability, the harder it may be to use.
Proper Education (Bonus) - After weeks and weeks in the lab poring over your research, you've concluded basically nothing. Ugg. However, you feel like you got a bit better at your job for doing it. You gain a one point bonus to either intelligence or appeal.
Tier 6
Learned Tracker (Bonus) - You've learned the proper ways to behave from animals not through instinct, but cold, hard experience. You've got a lot of scars to show off. Once per day, mission, or bounty, you may roll intelligence plus appeal for an animal or creature appeal roll.
Tier 7
Proper Education (Bonus) - After years of hard work and effort, you're starting to get some real respect around here. You gain a one point bonus to either intelligence or appeal.
