You are the guardian of an ancient and powerful digital artifact, imbued with angelic might. Your sole purpose in life is to keep its immense power from falling into the wrong hands - and the staff is more than willing to lend you some of its power to assist you in this task.

Tier 1
Devil Destroyer - Harness the powerful holy energies within Castiel and release them as an angelic blast of energy based on intelligence! This attack gets advantage and does more damage against unholy, undead, and darkness aligned targets. However, it gets disadvantage when used against holy or light-aligned targets. Once used, this will turn one of your limbs to stone.
Castiel's Blessing - Wielding this angelic staff has begun to empower your own magical energies, pushing your aptitude as its guardian to new heights. You gain +X to intelligence, where X is your tiers in this class.
Tier 2
Sacred Aegis - You wouldn't be a very good guardian if you couldn't defend, now could you? Project forth a holy digital barrier to protect yourself from harm based on intelligence. This ability gains advantage when used to defend against an attack elementally aligned with dark, undead, or unholy energies! Once used, this will turn one of your limbs to stone.
Holy Presence - The staff has begun to slowly edit your digital code and turn you into a more suitable guardian. You may now manifest angel wings which allow you to fly based on intelligence, and are now considered "Holy".
Tier 3
Petrification - You shouldn't be the only one affected by the stone curse, should you? Once per day, mission, or bounty, attempt to turn a target organic being to stone for 1d2 turns based on intelligence. As long as the target's statue is unharmed, they will return to normal at the end of this period. Using this ability turns TWO of your limbs to stone, however.
Boon of Castiel - It's a little difficult to keep up your guardianship if you've become a statue. You may change one of your limbs back to normal as a main action.
Tier 4
Devil Destroyer (Bonus) - Begone demon! Once per encounter, you may use Devil Destroyer as a multi-target spell! Roll a 2d2 on use to determine how many attacks you have. You may split your attacks up however you wish among all targets in combat.
Purification - You don't need an old priest or a young priest to deal with possession, all you need is your trusty magic stick. Once per day, you may attempt to banish a target evil spirit or demon back to its home dimension based on intelligence. This also may be used to purify a target that has been possessed by a demon or spirit!
Tier 5
Lightform (Unique) - You've become so attuned to Castiel that you can accomplish things others could only dream of. Once per day, unleash the holy energy within the staff and fuse it with your own, allowing you to transform into a being of pure light for 1d2 turns! While this effect is active you are completely immune to physical attacks and your Castiel abilities do not turn your limbs to stone!
Castiel's Might - Your body's constant exposure to angelic energy has seriously empowered it, making you tougher than you've ever been before! You gain +X/2 to vitality, where X is equal to your tiers in this class.
Tier 6
Lay on Hands - You may now use one of the most stereotypical powers any holy class can give, and perform a basic heal on a target based on intelligence! However, due to the holy nature of this spell, it will harm dark, undead, and unholy targets it is used on. Whether that's a positive or a negative is up to you. It will heal more than usual if used on a holy or light target however! As usual, using this spell will turn one of your limbs to stone.
Tier 7
Devil Destroyer (Bonus) - The sting of the light burns harshly on the skin of the sinner. Or something like that. Targets that have been successfully hit by Devil Destroyer become burned, meaning they'll have disadvantage on any physical actions they take until the burn is dealt with!
Tier 8
Custom Fit - Just as Castiel has been changing and empowering you, you've been changing and empowering Castiel as well! You may give a custom upgrade to Castiel! This may be something simple like a stat boost, or could be a basic ability that you wish to give the staff. Be creative! Any upgrades must be approved by a DM before being used however.
