As mighty as the dragons are, they need someone to protect them from their one natural predator: humans. With shining armor and a blade as sharp as a dragon's tooth, you'll be their defender. You'll be their knight.
Tier 1
Draco-Smash - Borrow the strength of the mightiest of dragons and once per encounter roll your robustness plus one-fourth of your vitality score to release a devastating blow.
Knight Training - It isn't easy to be a knight. Luckily, you've had the best of training. You gain X (Based on class level) to robustness.
Tier 2
Protector - A knight is a stalwart defender who will protect those they're loyalty to the death. Once per encounter, you may freely defend for a target as an immediate interrupt.
Heavy Armor Training - The best defense is a good defense, and you've been trained on how to properly utilize the best defense. You are free from any heavy armor penalties you may incur simply from wearing heavy armor (limited mobility, exhausting to wear, etc).
Tier 3
Dragonfire - Your body has within it the essence of a mighty and ancient dragon who willingly gave her life to increase your strength and protect all of dragonkind from those that wish to harm it. Don't let her sacrifice be in vein. You may now breathe an AOE dragonfire blast based on vitality. Keep in mind that your allies too close to the flames may be burned.
Protector (Bonus) - Long nights on the sparring field flash through your mind. They were exhausting and arduous, but well worth it in the end. You may now use Protector twice per encounter with a +5 added unto the defense.
Tier 4
Dragonkin - You are friend to the dragons, and they are a friend to you. Mostly. Dragons will not attack you without being provoked.
Heavy Armor Training (Bonus) - After hours of sweating it out in heavy armor, you've learned to use it better than any other knight in the land. You're even pretty light on your feet in it. You gain a ten point bonus to initiative.
Tier 5
Guardian (Unique) - Is as customary with the Sacred Order of the Dragon Knights, you've been given a dragon egg to raise as your own. You may choose the dragon's name, element type, color, any thing you could possibly choose about it. After hatching, the dragon will level and grow in strength the more it does.
Knight Training (Bonus) - For the first time in years, you head back down to the sparring fields. You have someone to protect now, you need to be ready to do your job. You gain X/2 (Based on your class' level) to vitality.
Tier 6
Dragonfire (Bonus) - You've grown in power and may take some of the more powerful abilities of the elder dragon within you. Choose an elemental-type for your breath. Your Dragonfire attack will get bonuses against those this element is strong against, and penalties against those it is weak against. Regardless of what you choose, you may focus your Dragonfire on a single target for a five point bonus to your roll.
Tier 7
Draco-Smash (Bonus) - With a great amount of in-combat training, you've started to get further attuned to the powers gifted upon you by your draconic brethren. You may now use Draco-Smash at will.
